I'm finally gonna do something about it.

It's called "in a hundred words or fewer", and by god that's what it shall revert to.

Even if it means uncompleted sentences and unfinished posts, or it takes me ten posts to rant in entirety.

The word limit was there in the first place to keep me succinct and to the point, and I've been blabbing unnecessarily (which I could do elsewhere).

10:35 - spam sandwich, with multigrain bread. And coffee with milk.

It's a little disconcerting to see Bette Porter Jennifer Beals on Lie to me*. In a suit. In a power suit. (Yes!) Married to Cal Lightman. (Noooooooooooo!)

I kept thinking: Mama-B, what are you doing here? Are you back with Mama-T?

(I haven't got my hands on the last season of TLW - all I know is: PsychoBitch - aka Jenny Schecter- is dead!1!!)

It gets crazier: Dr. Gillian Foster (Kelli Williams) looks so much like Tina Kennard (Laurel Holloman)!

The first time C saw Dr. Foster on Lie to me*, she made a comment to the effect of: "Isn't that the blond girl in The L Word?" Granted, she's only seen the pilot of TLW, but I who have watched five seasons was also taken aback by the resemblance.

I was only pretty sure it wasn't Mama-T when I told myself to look for the mole! and couldn't detect any.

Still, it didn't stop me from imagining Bette Zoe Landau and Dr. Gillian Foster hook up and have a lovely biracial baby. Fan-fic, anybody?

08:51 - leftover drumlets C brought home from school yesterday. And coffee with milk.

10:11 - a banana, a pon piah, two matcha cookies, and a peanut palmier. And coffee with milk.

10:22 - a pon piah, and coffee with milk. I've learned to eat only the bottom bit of the pastry, where the sweet filling is at; the rest of the pastry I 'accidentally' break into crumbs ... which go into the bin.

10:16 - white toast with ham and egg (which was cooked by nuking it in the microwave), and coffee with milk.

09:11 - ham and egg toasted sarnie (white bread because I wasn't the one who bought the bread ...), and coffee with milk.

09:38 - a caramel tart (it really tasted like an egg/custard tart) and some peanut palmier-type cookies. And coffee with milk.

09:23 - two slices of multigrain toast with margarine and marmalade, and a hard boiled egg. Also: coffee with milk.

10:07 - a chicken pie (bought from Cozy Cake Shop from the day before), and coffee with milk.

09:39 - coffee with milk, two slices of multigrain toast with margarine and kaya.

09:22 - coffee with milk, a pineapple tart (the last), and a chocolate-fig kiss.

00:42 - an egg tart. Slept late on Wed and felt hungry at midnight. Since C had a corn, I decided to eat something too.

08:48 - leftover dumplings from yesterday. (They came on a bed of sauteed shredded cabbage, onion, and carrot.)

09:26 - two chocolate-fig kisses while waiting for the laundry to finish in the washer.

08:47 - yes, it's my little green tumbler of coffee again, and a multigrain ham and egg sarnie.

10:15 - coffee with milk, and a sausage roll.




13:24 - another sausage roll before dance prac (more than halfway eaten before I remembered to snap a shot).




15:57 - two chocolate-fig kisses and a vanilla soft nougat (with nuts).






Around 18:00 to 19:00 - dinner at Thai House. We had fish cakes, prawn cutlets, and fried tofu for appetizers; and steamed whole tarakihi and green chicken curry, and rice. (Servings were very small, and the fish was disastrously overcooked. This is the second time we dined there, and there won't be a third for me.)


20:12 - some plain Pringles and a lemon-scented tea.






22:29 - a navel orange. Ugh. This is turning out to be a dry (albeit un-sour batch).




Our caterpillar is now a chrysalis!

10:27 - coffee with milk, and two chocolate-fig kisses.

08:23 - a banana.

Oh yeah - my dad sent me photos of Doggie after her most recent grooming session:

10:18 - a banana with honey. I woke up with an okay tummy, but I googled about what foods to avoid to reduce the chances of another episode of gastritis ... just in case.

Around 08:30-ish - a black coffee, and multigrain toast with leftover luncheon meat. This was after I threw the clothes into the washer.

11:09 - we tried making waffles today (with store-bought pancake mix) but ... weren't very successful. After the second disastrous waffle, I made pancakes instead; C fried up the bacon: yum! Also had a black coffee.

10:25 - a banana with honey, and a black coffee. (We were out of eggs, milk, and bread.)

09:20 - a black coffee and leftover fried rice. Also: leftover matcha cookies and some sour cream and chives crisps.

10:59 - a black coffee, the last sausage roll, and a Mrs. Higgins chocolate fudge brownie.

11:07 - a sausage roll (from Cozy Cake Shop - I bought three), and a black coffee.
