This.

How long will it be before I hit a daily average of ten posts and fifty tweets?
And then there's also twitter, which is just a fancier name for "in a hundred-and-forty letters or fewer" - or, "what I'm texting to the internets (and occasionally my friends)".
Because:

I wake up (later and later these days) and boot up and check the vacancies pages and get depressed about what looks interesting and what I think I'm qualified to apply for. They never coincide.

Then, to cheer up, I decide to think about this week's dinner menus and the recipes I'm dying to try out.

I write down grocery lists but don't go out - because my back hurts/my head feels heavy/my eyes are swollen/it's too cold/too sunny/too windy.

That's why all you see are (badly taken) pictures of what I ate.
Sun 2 May 2010

11:45 - PBH (honey) on multigrain toast. Coffee with milk.

Saturday, May 01, 2010

10:42 - egg and spam sandwich on multigrain toast (ugh, WAY too salty). And coffee with milk.

Friday, April 30, 2010

10:21 - coffee with milk, a pon piah, and five peanut-butter cookies.

(What I usually leave behind of a pon piah.)

I'm finally gonna do something about it.

It's called "in a hundred words or fewer", and by god that's what it shall revert to.

Even if it means uncompleted sentences and unfinished posts, or it takes me ten posts to rant in entirety.

The word limit was there in the first place to keep me succinct and to the point, and I've been blabbing unnecessarily (which I could do elsewhere).

So there.

(Mental note: look for Projekt Presents: A Dark Cabaret and Mad Love.)
10:35 - spam sandwich, with multigrain bread. And coffee with milk.

It's a little disconcerting to see Bette Porter Jennifer Beals on Lie to me*. In a suit. In a power suit. (Yes!) Married to Cal Lightman. (Noooooooooooo!)

I kept thinking: Mama-B, what are you doing here? Are you back with Mama-T?

(I haven't got my hands on the last season of TLW - all I know is: PsychoBitch - aka Jenny Schecter- is dead!1!!)

It gets crazier: Dr. Gillian Foster (Kelli Williams) looks so much like Tina Kennard (Laurel Holloman)!

The first time C saw Dr. Foster on Lie to me*, she made a comment to the effect of: "Isn't that the blond girl in The L Word?" Granted, she's only seen the pilot of TLW, but I who have watched five seasons was also taken aback by the resemblance.

I was only pretty sure it wasn't Mama-T when I told myself to look for the mole! and couldn't detect any.

Still, it didn't stop me from imagining Bette Zoe Landau and Dr. Gillian Foster hook up and have a lovely biracial baby. Fan-fic, anybody?
08:51 - leftover drumlets C brought home from school yesterday. And coffee with milk.

Tuesday, April 27, 2010

10:11 - a banana, a pon piah, two matcha cookies, and a peanut palmier. And coffee with milk.

Sunday, April 25, 2010

Sun 25 Apr 2010

10:22 - a pon piah, and coffee with milk. I've learned to eat only the bottom bit of the pastry, where the sweet filling is at; the rest of the pastry I 'accidentally' break into crumbs ... which go into the bin.

Saturday, April 24, 2010

10:16 - white toast with ham and egg (which was cooked by nuking it in the microwave), and coffee with milk.

Thursday, April 22, 2010

Thu 22 Apr 2010

09:11 - ham and egg toasted sarnie (white bread because I wasn't the one who bought the bread ...), and coffee with milk.
